Yeah from other CFMB gurus who didn't bother watch the game like you didn't . The same types of gurus who provide the words of personal trainers as "scientific evidence" of someone's playing ability

I said I didn’t watch the game. Unlike you I’m not watching split screen Bears & Steelers.

All I saw was the absurd backwards fumble and the snap off his face.

Well MANY who actually watched the game know that the only reason they were in it in the first place was due to Justin Fields

When it's all a lie anyway who besides your dumbass actually would give a shit? Just Asking A Question

The fact is the video evidence (remember asking for that?) proves that Caleb Williams throws completely off platform harder than an "absolute rope" is thrown by Justin Fields.

Caleb Williams has elite level arm strength, there's no room to argue.

You provided the words of his personal trainer as "scientific evidence" dumbass. But hey Cresty is impressed so that is all that matters I guess.

You realize I'm basing the claim on the video evidence I provided you, right?

Williams has an insane arm. I’d never heard anybody who watches football suggest otherwise before this year. I think most of the Fields cult are size queens.

It’s not completely dissimilar from Kyler Murray, though he’s more of an outlier in terms of height. I read a critique of Williams pre draft that called him a “taller Kyler Murray” like that was a bad thing.

His arm is so "insane" that it's "crazy" that he can't complete a pass longer than 5 yards huh?

I could go an overly literal TDS route if you’d like.

The honest answer is he’s been inaccurate downfield. The funny thing is his accuracy was unquestioned pre draft, even from the guys you’ve curated as Fields Cult Approved. I’ve called that out every game. What matters more in terms of comparison is that Fields couldn’t find a guy in the middle of the field during his time here unless that guy was wide open. He had no anticipation and zero ability to see anything away from the outside of the field.

I get the Kyler Murray comp, though Caleb probably isn't as quick. Both of them produce powerful throws with relatively compact throwing motions. To his credit Fields has a rocket for an arm as well, but like other slow-throwers in Bears history (Grossman, Cutler), and in the infamous words of an unfortunate Scoreboard Update guy, "He has a long, slow delivery that allows safeties to jump all over his balls" (or something comical like that).

Fields can absolutely rip it at times. I don’t think that’s worthless, but it’s not that important.

The greatest QBs live on easy throws for easy yardage.

So will I. That's why I can comment on his leading 3 consecutive touchdown drives in order to keep them in the game while you have the commentary of Fields haters to go off of

I root for Fields to get the majority of the snaps. I’ve been consistent on that (and that I thought he’d get the job from Russ). I assume his 24 points in a losing effort were way better than Williams’ 24 points in a W.

It won’t arouse me if he remains QB1 in Pittsburgh as I’m not a fellow traveler in the Cult, but I hope he can get the Bears a 4th.

Nice try but it won't work guy. Like MANY you are heavily invested in seeing him fail so you can do the ol "I told you so routine".

When Caleb Williams leads TD drives late in the game to ultimately bring the Bears back within 1 score with 5 minutes left, it's "a gift" and the defense "played time and score":

When Justin Fields does the exact same thing, against the same team, he "[kept] them in the game":

I don’t think he’s a good NFL QB but I’m a grown up. I can cut my losses.

There is something psychologically wrong with this dude. He has some sort of severe mental illness.

He’d rebounded from his own fumble to score touchdowns on three straight drives, the Pittsburgh Steelers getting the ball down three with 2:39 to play

It's time to start questioning the sanity of those that "unconditionally support" someone that has the sort of mental challenges that JLN has too.

https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/pit ... lts-proves

Quote:
Justin Fields' first four games with the Pittsburgh Steelers have shown he's the real deal. His athletic ability and improved decision-making allows him to put up points for the team even when the rest of the 53-man roster is falling apart around him, either from mental mistakes, poor execution, or plain old injuries.

The first two weeks of the year, Fields was hobbled by a playbook that the team was clearly not utilizing fully. In fairness, that made sense at the time. Nobody knew Fields would look this good and the Steelers began the year playing good defenses, and especially against Atlanta's two All-Pro safeties that led to Fields

First play of the game shows why Waldron has to go. Has to. This was the second game in a row where this play was used. This dude is flat out incompetent.

how refreshing is it that we have a QB that can lead the offense into the endzone. remember with fields and other bear qb's we get in the red zone and kick like 4 fg's per game.

Maybe we should compare Fields 5th start with the Bears and Caleb's 5th start with the Bears to see how it's going.

The right move is to give the Doctor an off ramp.

He’s a Bears fan. He’ll eventually be a Caleb fan. We’re a big tent full of grace & understanding; all are welcome.

I’m here for this.

No reason to hold it against any Bears fan for being a bit cautious about a young QB, I don’t see the point in any ‘I told you so’s’ here. It’s a tough position to play and an even tougher position to predict.

it’s OK to be cautiously optimistic not over the top “ He’s a Hall of Famer, he’s H1M !!!!” after a couple of good games against not good defenses like the Fields Cult did last year with those victories over Washington and Denver.

Caleb is averaging 300 yards in his last 3 games. He didn't have 300 yards combined in his first 2 games. He's making progress.

Look at this throw. Casually flips it about 45 yards in the air to a spot only Moore could make the catch.

Beautiful. LTG's crush never attempts that throw because it's not "open", and USA's "it'll never be better" benchmark (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky just throws a lame duck that's undercut.

Yeah, even if he comes around, LTG can wear the "Fields is so obviously more skilled than Caleb I feel bad for him" dunce cap for a little while.
