It wasn't a must win for Detroit today but now they have to use their ace for game 5, which even if they win, fucks them against the Yankees.

Hinch overmanaged in the 7th. Just couldn't help himself to yank the known quantity who was doing fine and needed one out, to bring in the unknown, who threw 30 pitches yesterday, and then promptly threw a gopher ball.

The time to get both the Yankees and the Dodgers was in a 5 game series. They're both going to be tough to beat in a 7 game series. I'm sure Fox is licking their chops at the prospect of a NY/LA or NY/NY World Series.

The Tigers had a legit shot had they won Game 4. It would have lined up perfect for them just like the Rangers last year. Tigers/Mets/Dodgers would be much more entertaining than any game the BoringAssYankees are in.

Tigers-Indians, game 5 coming up at noon.

Odd to have a Game 5 at high noon on a Saturday.

Should be a great game, similar to last night's Game 5, with 2 GREAT pitchers goin at it. The total runs line is VERY low at 5.5. Anybody takin' the under on this?

I had all my hopes and dreams wrapped in the Tigers. Hinch blew game 4 and now I don't care. I took the Dodgers in March so there's that, I guess, but still haven't watched more than a inning of either series.
