When the Bears lost to the Eagles in the playoffs, the defense played great for all but their final possession. When the game was over, no one blamed Nagy for the lack of points scored. Everyone pointed the finger at (Pro Bowl QB) (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and Parkey. Nagy was given a pass for his unit until Fields got drafted.

Bearded Eberflus defense keeps an explosive offense out of the end zone. His rookie quarterback misses countless layups. Instead of blaming the player, like they would have in the past, MANY point the finger at the coach.

Caleb led not one but two game winning drives. Again, he was really bad for 3 quarters but a competent OC and HC win this game in a blowout. I really didn't see many layups to be had, he missed some throws sure but Waldron starting every drive with a run up the gut makes the offense so predictable and he makes things so much worse with the absolute garbage he calls in critical situations.

A further addendum to my point about the coaching breakdown on the game's final plays: Detroit faced a similar situation last week against Minnesota. They chose to rush the passer, and the Vikings could not throw the Hail Mary as a result. Eberflus should have implemented a similar strategy.

Lmao, you know you have to win for a drive to be “game winning”. Like I said, by this time tomorrow Williams’ performance will have been retcon’d into a 300+ yard 5 TD game.

I'm a Caleb guy, but I'm not going to blame Waldron for what I saw. Guys were NFL and college open and he missed them or didn't see them. That's player failure.

I'm not saying Caleb was good yesterday, far from it. But Waldron as an OC gets an F, if there is a grade lower than F, Waldron should get it.

Usually big pussy all bark no bite Kap asked Flus all the burning questions with follow-ups prodding. Flus danced around everything with no specific details just we need to do a better job.

He actually slipped in some praise. A must listen.

No, it isn't. They set out to become part of the story in an effort to generate content and failed. Kap and Hood tried to bait Eberflus into some meatball answer and get him to throw Stevenson under the bus, but he calmly swatted them away. After failing, they patted themselves on the back for their ZERO soundbites and virtually nonexistent caller engagement. Their weak attempts to manufacture outrage were press-the-button radio. I eventually got there.

You realize now that Eberflus lost the game with his massive coaching failure on the last two plays, right?

No, I realize continuing to debate it is an exercise in futility. I've run out of energy for it. I'm kind of dragging today. Low energy Nas! Maybe I'll be up for more wasteful debates tomorrow.

Nas’ malaise is because he sees that I’m right about Caleb. Right now he’s glum but give him time the truth is freeing.

Poles fucked up by not hiring someone like Harbaugh to oversee this operation. Coaching has been a problem with Eberflus since day 1. Trying to place entire blame on a rookie QB for coaching inconsistencies that have existed for a few years now is missing the point.

Caleb is a rookie, he’s going to have bad games. Eberflus is in his 3rd year as a HC and still fucking up things he was fucking up in his 1st year. And if he’s this bad on Sunday’s, imagine how much is getting missed Monday thru Saturday.. this team can’t manage the clock, has costly penalties during critical points of games, and is wildly emotional and undisciplined in close games on the road. That’s bad coaching.

If Justin stays healthy, he's a lock for the Pro Bowl.
