Not Really.

You start watching the bears this year?

I've watched the Bears for most of my life. I rarely read these threads however.
And the point is this. You were clearly drinking the Eberflus Kool Aid when you thought that they were improving. Thus it's disingenuous to place the blame on him now. You obviously roll with whichever way the wind blows.

So you can easily point me to where I said Flus should be launched 8 games into his career.

I didn't say 8 games into his career. 8 games in this year. It's clear that I meant this season since all of my references were to this season.

No, not at all clear. You can backtrack & capitulate or just say you were wrong.

Normally an easy decision.

Oh I know. You’re dug in on the idea that I wanted Flus fired 8 games into his career.

Here is your calling for Eberflus to be Fired this past Sunday. Which was clearly "8 Games In".

Provide Evidence where I claimed that you called for it 8 games into his career? And I will provide evidence that I didn't. Deal?

Everything in this post pertains to this season though.

But since I don't think he can I'm not. I'll leave the Kool Aid Drinking to guys like you. Guys who coincidentally, have already called for firing the coaches 8 games in. Which is a Bears Fan staple by the way. They've done this same dance with each and every coach since Ditka.
I tried (As A Long Time Bears Fan) to provide the blueprint for you dudes during the off-season but you didn't want to listen. Trade the pick and shore up some of the gaps along the line and at the skill positions and you'd have been a surefire playoff team this year. Instead we've already taken to the time honored Nouvo Bears Fan tradition of speculating on who the next Bears coach will be halfway through the season. Which means that "WE" already believe that the season is over..What a waste

You bumped this thread in order to take the focus off of how shitty Caleb is playing as an NFL QB

I bumped this thread because Miller Moss is Extremely Pertinent and Relevant.

Well, until he gets benched.

It's extremely "relevant" and "pertinent" to keep pointing this out then

We'll see how Moss does in his first start in a true road-game today against Michigan. Wins over Louisville and LSU both neutral site games.

So Caleb Williams is worse than a bad QB?

The Miller Moss point was a major L here. Williams clearly wasn't the problem at USC.

It's clear by their record from last year that Caleb wasn't the solution either. It's also "clear" that USC is in a much better conference this year than Caleb played in last season too. And the fact that a guy whose likely to never be drafted could step in with Caleb's team and win a bowl game against a ranked team says quite a bit about Caleb. As does Caleb's record in a weaker conference.

It can't be Extremely Pertinent and Relevant only when it says what you want it to say.

It was a bad point from the start but you chose to make the bad point and it backfired.

I know Bricksonian Logic is sort of your thing, but no one ever stated that Miller Moss was good or better than Caleb. In fact this thread was started to demonstrate just how bad Caleb is. USC inserted the undrafted backup into the lineup and there was very little drop-off. Thus what it does it say about Caleb? Just Asking A Question

Not that he played great, it's just that he didn't stink.

I get you have to walk this back but it's crystal clear that you were going to argue that Miller Moss succeeding at USC meant that Williams wasn't the reason they were good. That just backfired spectacularly.

I get that you are now trying to change the subject because the numbers strongly suggests that Caleb sucks, but it's not working

I'm not changing the subject. Don't create a "Miller Moss Watch" thread and then be surprised when he gets benched under that watch and someone posts about it.

What was my basic argument about Miller Moss and cite evidence to support your claim and not your "interpretation". I'm not interested in that.

I'm good with simply ending the Miller Moss watch now that he's been benched and it's clear that Caleb Williams was a MUCH better QB at USC than he was.

If you want to claim you never had a basic argument about Miller Moss then I won't argue. It turns out this was just a thread where you wanted to track the progress of a USC quarterback.
