Fields wants to be a starter and get starter money.
Steelers would keep him but as a QB2
I don't think Colts are giving up on Richardson
Atlanta has what they feel is the future starting today.
Raiders drafting a QB who likely will be playing not sitting for very long.
In Cleveland Fields would start week 1 and it would be his team if he is good enough.
He gets what he wants in Cleveland.

He should be playing in front of our No. 1 overall pick. What's another 1st Rounder to beat out?

And regardless even it's not Atlanta he will sign to start somewhere. Which is the point. The notion that "he's just a backup" is just well, dumb TBH

Ok, he is a starter but you can only name 2 teams that he can possibly start?

I thought it was 4 but again he is not starting in Atlanta or Indy.

I posed a hypothetical. You don't think he-s a starter. Ok I do. We'll see in 3 months. No need to go back and forth parsing through the list.

Who has been a starter in over 80% of his available game as a pro. Who is own OC clearly stated "is a starter".

Again I cannot take seriously the opinion of guys that have been incorrect about EVERYTHING Bears related since I began REALLY paying attention to this section about a year ago.

You don’t have to simp for an AFC backup QB. I appreciate cults are by definition difficult to break free from, but the earlier you move on the better.

At this rate you’ll be Al Bundy by proxy, sitting there 30yrs from now telling anybody who’ll listen how great Justin Fields would have been if teams were willing to start him and you only counted games his team won.

I know it is a problem for MANY whenever they make complete asses of themselves with their inane sports thoughts around here. But don't make that my fight.
The Bears sucked this year as a result of making the decision that YOU wanted them to make. Instead of making a playoff push they ended up making another top 10 draft pick push. Mostly because they listened to dudes like you who clamored for them to "draft the next Patrick Mahomes". Instead of admitting the lunacy of this position, you have chosen to double and triple down on this rather foolish notion.
Again not my fight. If the Bears had just simply did what MANY Chicago Bear fans such as myself wanted them to do and trade the pick, we'd have been in much better shape moving forward. Instead they held fast and took the advice of dudes like you who believed the hype surrounding "Da Generational One" instead and now are paying the price for it.
Instead of talking about the playoffs, we're back to once again discussing who the next coach, GM, and high draft pick will be. Which seemingly has been the talk in 85-90% of the years since Ditka left. Hooray!

Fields is not a good quarterback. The entire market has told you that but you refuse to listen.

You spend all your time hating on the QB who’s been more productive than Fields ever was or will be because you have some irrational affection for Justin Fields.

You say it's "irrational hate" to lay blame on the person chiefly responsible for the Bears being one of the worst teams in Football. Which makes absolutely no sense.

I think I said irrational affection for Fields.

The Steelers have gone 7-3 since benching Justin Fields.

They signed Kirk first. If they move on from Penix after three games the Gm will be fired. Not happening.

Actually 6-3 (soon to be 6-4) since he was benched. Which is the exact same winning %as they had when he was the starter.

He's more than likely to be fired for signing Cousins to such a terrible contract than he'd be from pushing on from QB that no one knows is good or not.

So how is winning at the same rate as when they started Justin Fields "disastrous"? Doesn't that imply, even prove, that Justin's play is replaceable?

I believe the correct phrase was "More and More Disastrous". Explain how it is not first because you go into your disagreeable routine?

OK so you can't explain it and the "natives" are shocked.

I don't think it needs to be explained how winning twice as many games as you lose isn't a "disaster" of any proportion.

Same way that it needed to be "explained" that their recird was 6-3 when you lied and claimed it was 7-3?

And again the statement pertained to it being "more and more disastrous" not merely "disastrous. Steelers are on their way to losing their 3rd game in a row and Russell Wilson hasn't played well in over a month. Which definitely constitutes "more and more disastrous" numbnuts.

2 1st half touchdowns. But im sure they won't count because the bears were down by two scores or because theirs have injured starters on defense.

They dudes are so loony I guarantee that they counted the 3 previous 3 weeks when the Bears were scoreless in the first half as "2 Touchdowns" as well.

This is gloriously incoherent jibberish as Radio scrambles to downlplay a very good Caleb Williams performance.

Hey Hartgrove. I guarantee that you believe that it is "Hyperbolic" for anyone to suggest that the Bears are losers of 8 (soon to be 9) straight don't you? Just Asking A Question

Also, the Steelers don’t want him as a starter, they benched him.

For a guy who is a future HOF whom they'd promised a starting spot too. And by the way that decision to "bench him" is looking more and more disastrous by the game.

The Steelers have gone 7-3 since benching Justin Fields.

Actually 6-3 (soon to be 6-4) since he was benched. Which is the exact same winning %as they had when he was the starter.

So how is winning at the same rate as when they started Justin Fields "disastrous"? Doesn't that imply, even prove, that Justin's play is replaceable?

It is inane to me to continue this "argument" about who is the better "QUARTERBACK" between Fields and Williams. All that is settled with these two specimens is that Williams is unable to win for a bad team and Fields is able to win for a good team. The two people that have lost out big time in this football season is Mike Tomlin who tried to play KING SOLOMAN AND ended up fucking things up royally and Ryan Poles who fucked up a once in a lifetime opportunity to build a solid football team from a bounty of high draft picks and bountiful free agent players.

While Tomlin has a proven resume to fall back on, his luster has certainly lost a lot of his shine and I really doubt that Poles will survive this huge fucking embarrassment. 3 points in the first half of this so-called "game" after three consecutive 1st half shutouts in a row has got to set some sort of record of futility for a football franchise, right?
