I don't think Brick has been a Caleb Williams superfan. The only person here who really fit that description was HawaiiYou proclaiming that "the offense will score at will" and that "this year is figuring everything out and next year is the year!" Hard to be over-the-top in favor of him when the Bears have been shitting up the joint since mid-October.
Nah Brick is all in too. He still believes that Caleb "can throw" even as statistics show that the he is one of the least accurate passers of the last 25 years. And even when he has played terribly, which has been the overwhelming amount of time, Brick still always will try and find that silver lining for some strange reason.
And the Caleb bandwagon extends far beyond HawaiiYou too. Hell Tee Time still believes that he has "all world" ability and accuracy that is top notch even as stats demonstrate that he is one of the least accurate passers of the past 25 years
I've praised Caleb's good play and pointed out his awful play as well, so let's try living in reality, Radio. What I don't do is tolerate absurd criticism from people like you who made the exact same excuses about Justin Fields but now claim it's Caleb's fault he's been sacked almost 70 times and putting up more/better stats than Justin Fields ever did as a passer in Chicago doesn't matter.
Hey clown. You claimed that Caleb's 4th Quarter play during the Washington Game was "stellar". A Quarter (and game) in which he passed for no Touchdowns. "Stellar play" nonetheless. Against the Colts you again lauded his play even as his team lost mostly due to his inability to get them out of single digits point wise until the game was mostly concluded.
You led some stupid crusade against the Bears defense back when they were one of the better defenses in the league because you didn't have the stones or good sense to say that Caleb Williams was playing like shit.
Caleb has literally broken records for futility and ineptness this season and not once have you ever bothered to comment on the shit.
Euphemistically stating every blue moon that he has "struggled" or played "badly" when he clearly has sucked isn't indicative of someone that has played it straight either.
In fact you, like MANY here, were quick to point how Cakeb was a Rookie whom you expected to "struggle" ONLY after he began to suck as mightily as he did. Prior to that he was someone with "all world" ability whose mere presence would make the Bears decidedly better as a team, rookie or not.
And lastly. You were the same dope and buffoon who immediately scoffed at the notion that "Generational Caleb" was bumslaying even as it was clear to anyone that understands how competition and sports works that he was bumslaying. And the Numbers since this comment was made strongly support this.
2 bumslaying games Generational Caleb averaged 35.5 points. 10 games Since then they have avg 14 points per game and only scored more than 25 points once.
5-6 games they have been held scoreless at half time. At least 4 games in the single digits points wise
Game after the game of him posting some of the worse QBR numbers in the entire league.
You (as is your normal) made a complete ass of yourself week after week with this, and yet here you are. Last game and all. 10 (soon to be 11 game losing streak) game losing streak and all. Endlessly Bloviating and pontificating as if you were "correct all along" with your dumbass. All because you are just that damn deranged
