It'd be nice if the Cubs can set an early tone for the season and take at least 2 out 3

With those pitching matchups, there is no reason why we shouldn't. CC and Sheets are longgggg gone.

Braden Looper....Dave Bush....Jeff Suppan?? These guys suck. Cubs should sweep.

with the staff the brewers have, that team should be in the basement for good by the middle of may, i dont care how good an offense they have. suppan? bush? almost their entire staff is made up of career 5th starters. are you kidding me? the window is shut for that team until they get some real pitching. to lose sheets and cc is way too much for them to overcome.

i hate the brewers, anything less than 2 of 3 would be disappointing. actually, only 2 of 3 with those matchups would be disappointing.

There's a definate pitching mismatch in this series. Imagine if it were Sheets v. Harden and Sabbathia v. Zambrano

the cubs should be able to take 2 out of 3 from the brewers. their pitching is really weak. bush and suppan especially should be good for 4 or 5 runs

While their pitching blows, they can still score a ton of runs with that lineup. I don't think they will be in the basement, they can stay ahead of the Pirates.

Harden has been hitting mid 90's regularly early today. Looks nice and strong.

Who made the error that cost the run? My feed is not working today.

It was credited to Theriot but was a high throw that was off Lee's glove. He should have had it.

Wow Harden's foot just kept the Brewers from scoring 2.

Not such a great start to the year for Lee.

Giving a guy that has one hit so far this year the green light when you have your best hitter so far behind him doesnt make too much sense.

Lee has not been the same since the Frucal incident.

If you can't trust him to hit then they shouldn't be batting him 3rd. Put Bradley 3rd and bat A-Ram clean up. Lee can hit after Fontenot.

There was also something about a quad injury this spring, but he's supposed to be 100%.
that play at first though, it looked like he just lost focus. In and out of the glove, a not so Lee play.

I think he was talking about Bradley. Had a green light on a 3-0 pitch with 2 on and 2 outs. Flied out to Left.

My bad I am looking at the gamecast on the computer I am not in front of the TV. Thought he was talking about when Lee struck out looking with runners on first and second.

Lee blows and should never hit higher than 7th. I am tired of his act.

Very nice to see Harden look so strong. If he is getting his fastball in there at 95 with his changeup he is almost unhittable.

If the Cub lose, you can hang the loss on Lou. Sometimes he just baffles me. You either leave Marmol in to strike out and get Soriano to the plate or you put in Hoff-Power to pinch hit.

I found that pinch hitter really curious myself. Hoff already had his bat in his hands, he was ready!

Now he's bringing in Gregg in the 8th. I think Lou has lost it. At this rate he'll have the bullpen burnt out by June. Lou is daft.
