with the staff the brewers have, that team should be in the basement for good by the middle of may, i dont care how good an offense they have. suppan? bush? almost their entire staff is made up of career 5th starters. are you kidding me? the window is shut for that team until they get some real pitching. to lose sheets and cc is way too much for them to overcome.

i hate the brewers, anything less than 2 of 3 would be disappointing. actually, only 2 of 3 with those matchups would be disappointing.

There's a definate pitching mismatch in this series. Imagine if it were Sheets v. Harden and Sabbathia v. Zambrano

the cubs should be able to take 2 out of 3 from the brewers. their pitching is really weak. bush and suppan especially should be good for 4 or 5 runs

While their pitching blows, they can still score a ton of runs with that lineup. I don't think they will be in the basement, they can stay ahead of the Pirates.

If you can't trust him to hit then they shouldn't be batting him 3rd. Put Bradley 3rd and bat A-Ram clean up. Lee can hit after Fontenot.

Very nice to see Harden look so strong. If he is getting his fastball in there at 95 with his changeup he is almost unhittable.

If the Cub lose, you can hang the loss on Lou. Sometimes he just baffles me. You either leave Marmol in to strike out and get Soriano to the plate or you put in Hoff-Power to pinch hit.
