Is peaking.

Aramis Ramirez coming back soon; is there an AL team that needs a DH?

Nobody wants a DH that can't hit breaking balls.

I would put Fox's trade value right now at "luke warm". Half the teams in MLB would have close to no interest in giving anything up for him......

What the hell does 'luke warm' mean anyway? How did someone come up with that term?

Quote:
The word lukewarm has a long and respectable history, going right back to the 14th century. The adjective luke sems to be an alternative form of lew, Old English hleow, which meant 'tepid'.

I would be even more impressed if you could give me the etymology of the term 'country cocksucker', ya little prick, ya.

How in the hell did Fox hit 5 consecutive flyouts to CF today?

I don't know, but I bet you I could get five consecutive strikeouts if I got called up.

That's fine with me, all I'd want in return is an average bullpen pitcher.

Fox has pretty high trade value. The guy looks like he will be a Major League hitter, but why would you want to trade him if you have a team that cant hit?

If the Cubs are giving up on him as a fielder, it makes all the sense in the world to try to trade him. The problem is that other teams are unlikely to make a big offer for a rookie with less than 20 MLB games under his belt. Even when we get to the trading deadline and the Cubs are out of it, I don't think any team will offer enough that the Cubs would bite on the deal.
