Oddly enough I just saw a stupid comment from a guy named Brian Anderson on facebook...but this one way waaaay worse.

He is asking (not demanding) for an opportunity to play everyday on an MLB club. He said if something fair for the Sox comes along where BA can play everyday, Kenny would entertain the deal. Thats about it.

Doesn't matter. Players that have done absolutely nothing for a team are in no position to ask or demand that anything be done for them. It's just embarassing to the player. What is he going to do? Threaten to sit out? That would probably make the Sox happy. Im sure Kenny would probably take a bag of balls if he could get it.

Brian Anderson is Corey Patterson with less talent. Give it up.

Why am I not surprised that Brian Anderson wants out of here? Even before his demotion to Triple "AAA" Charlotte, Anderson's supposed to be the best centerfielder on the roster. Defensively, it's hard not to argue. Offensively, he's an automatic out, whether he likes it or not. You can't afford to have automatic outs like Anderson on this team, and in my opinion, he's got nobody to blame but himself that he's with Brent Lillibridge down on the farm.

I'm trying to recall a time in history where, on both sides of town, we had more godawful bad defensive outfielders...

Nas, it was a bold move. Dewayne came in this game for defense in the top half of the 9th, shifting Scott Podsednik to left and Carlos Quentin to the bench...

Are you suggesting Fuk's a good outfielder... or a bad one?

I'm suggesting that between Quentin, Podsednik, Soriano, Fox, Bradley, Hoffpauir, and possibly Dye, that i've never recalled a time where more DH types were getting regular glove time in the outfield...

I would say he's a very good right fielder, and an above average center fielder. He has good fundamentals, as do most Japanese players defensively..

ba nevere truelly got a full season to play but has had chances to win the job but hasnt, cant plame the club for all of it but they are partailly to blame for jerking the kid around so much

The White Sox have traded Brian Anderson to the Boston Red Sox for cash considerations, and OF Mark Kotsay.

Kotsay can play 1st so hopefully this means the end of Josh Fields. BA's not going to get anymore playing time in Boston but he got his wish of being traded.

I'm sure Musty Bobby is LOVING this trade.

I was thinking Konerko to DH and Fields at 1st for 2010...maybe not so much anymore.
