I seriously have to wonder if you read my posts before you blindly defended Kenny.

1. Michael Hill won a series in 2003 with the Marlins.
2. Andrew Friedman went to the series last year.
3. Tony Reagins, been with team since 2002. Won world series in 2002.
4. The Phillies won the series last year!!!

So, yeah 3 of those 4 have rings just like Kenny. Except they are good at their jobs.

- As said before, Kenny has been with the Sox for 17 years and has nothing to show for it outside of 2005. Give me a list of players that the Sox have developed while Kenny had the same position as those 4 guys did in my list.

- No one likes the Sox more than I do, but that doesn't mean I have to blindly follow him because his players got hot for a few months in 2005. What about everything he has done since then..? Or prior to that...? 24 games out in 2007! 2 years after the series. Sox have won over 90 games 1 time in 9 years. Why does that make him good? Seriously? I'm embarrassed for him actually.

- 9 years as GM, 2 first place finishes (including last years excuse for a team). Thats REALLY REALLY BAD.

- The Sox routinely have a payroll exceeding 90 million and the Sox are very average in a TERRIBLE division.

That doesn't mean that Kenny kinda sucks, the means Kenny is a failure at what he does. EVERY YEAR.

Seriously make me list of players developed on his watch and I will make you list of players from the 4 teams I listed.

Or give me 1 reason Kenny is better than any of those 4.

Keep in mind NONE of this is my opinion. I'm just throwing facts out there and then use those to evaluate Kenny's performance.

Larry Bienfest is the GM of the Marlins.
Bill Stoneman was the GM in Ananhiem when they won the WS.
Pat Gillick was the GM for the Phillies LAST YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll start reading your posts when you stop making up a bunch of bullshit to try to make a point.

Still not a reason for allowing poor performance and underachievement to continue for 4 years +.

Are you going to trot that picture out when the Sox haven't won for 4 more years?

I don't give a shit if the Sox win in 2010, if they play like garbage in 2011, I will demand Kenny's head for poor performance. Chicago is not some small market team like KC or Arizona or SD, they need to quit acting like they are and spend the money needed to bring high caliber players here in their primes.

I accept losing, but not I do not accept losing by being passive and scared.

Kenny is far from passive and scared...He tends more to the rah rah, threaten them all, delusional football jock side of things.
His job performance with the total lack of organizational stability and a genuine organizational plan speaks volumes.
His drafting has been pathetic....Stevie Wonder could have scouted and drafted Beckham...The Royce Rings, Josh Fields, Brian Andersons and Lance Broadways of the World are pure Kenny....
This team speaks for itself...can not field, can not hit, and the bullpen sucks...this roster in April was a flat out joke....I give General Manager Blowhard credit for in season moves....truth is his foundation has always been weak.....Kenny puts together a roster like he is in a bar throwing darts...there is little rhyme nor reason.
People forget in 2008 Ozzie was screaming that the offense sucked...Ozzie called out Greg Walker and demanded changes "by Tuesday".
Kenny Williams owes Ozzie a lot for taking a lot of heat off of him and the players he sticks Ozzie with over these last 4 seasons.

Turd, how is that "MOMENTUM" building for Glendale?

While you have your head up your ass, why don't you check the record and see how many games the White Sox are under. 500 against teams in this garbage Division they play in!!!

I'm sure the White Sox count on your financial loyalty at the Monday Night half price nights.

Keep looking for that silver lining for this season and keep "BELIEVING".

Maybe I can only afford to go on half price Mondays. What does that have to do with anything? Does that somehow make me a lesser person?

Please, Bob, tell us all about your season tickets and your playoff invoice. It is so impressive. God, you must be so rich. Tell me more about it. How did you amass such a fortune in your short 80 years here on this earth?

I find it ironic that any time anybody posts anything even remotely positive about the team, you pop right up to blast them as a blindly loyal "FANBOY" who is wasting their time and energy rooting for such a bad team in a horrible division with a bad owner, bad GM, bad coach, etc., etc. Yet you are the dipshit ponying up thousands of dollars for season tickets to watch a team that clearly gives you no enjoyment whatsoever. Who's the real fool, old man? (Hint: its you)

Keysor, I think we're discussing different topics.

Turd Ferguson said he couldn't think of too many GM's he would like to have so I threw a few names out there.

He then asked for further info on the guys and why I thought they were more accomplished than Kenny.

Larry Beinfest is the President of Baseball Operations, Michael Hill is the GM of Florida. Of course Stoneman was GM at the time LAA won the series, and of course Amaro was the Assistant GM. I said all of that TWICE.

You are entirely missing the point of why these guys were brought into the discussion. My main point being Kenny has been with the SOX for 17 years and has nothing to show for it other than 2005. In the meantime for example, Ruben Amaro was assistant GM on a team that has produced the following players from their OWN system (R Howard, J Rollins, Utley, Hamels, Happ, etc) and won. If you want to disagree with my post and discuss, that's great, that's the point of message boards, but you at least need to read the posts or be on topic to have any relevance.

Still waiting on a list of players developed by Kenny during his tenure with the team...

It also makes me wonder if 2 first place finishes in 9 years as GM is good, then whats your definition of bad..?

Learn what being a White Sox Fan is all about...it is about PAYING ATTENTION....not living in a fantasy world......White Sox fans have always prided themselves on knowing the damned game or at least faking knowledge.
Also, it is a lifelong affliction.....and when things aren't going well.....you blast who deserves to be blasted.
As far as seats go, I'll get you some of mine next year.
