I was the last one in for the Cubs fan qualifier yesterday.

Thank you Dave Veres.

Congrats and good luck. I did enjoy how they twisted it a little bit yesterday to bring up the "bad times" on both sides of town, but IMO, the Sox question was much tougher.

DAMN IT! I was 0-3.

1. Last Cubs LH opening day starter- I guessed Danny Jackson.
2. Sox longest hitting streak- I guessed Nellie Fox
3. Runs scored in '83 playoffs- I guessed 5.

Congrats PM. The fix was in!

Nellie Fox wasn't far off. He and Albert Belle shared the hitting streak standard before C. Lee topped it in '04. Congrats, Matt. Always good to see the "regulars" get a shot at cool prizes.

I knew it was El Caballo, but I can never get thru on the damn phone lines. I remember watching him break the record in an extra inning game against the Marlins. He was 0fer until he got a double in the 10th or 11th. I don't, however, remember if that was before or after he was hit in the head with a hotel door :P
