It's factual....I have sufficient knowledge about the game of Baseball, to have forgotten more than you will ever know.

It may be a long night. The Sox start Freddy Garcia VS Phillip Humber, a guy making his first start of the season in the first game of the DH. Humber has just 1 previous appearance this season. He went 2 innings in which he was unscored on, but gave up 2 hits and a walk. He's had just 19 appearances in the major leagues and 1 previous start. He has an awful 1.80 WHIP and 5.68 ERA in his career at the major league level. The numbers seem to suggest the Sox ought to hit the guy, but we'll see. Freddy has not been stellar of late, so it could be a game where the bullpens have to work early. That would be less than ideal, since they have a 2nd game scheduled tonight, with Pena facing Bryan Bullington. Bullington is intriguing. He has just 7 appearances in the majors this season, but since being inserted into the starting rotation, he has 2 quality starts. He went 6 innings vs the Angels, giving up 3 runs...pretty decent. but in his last start the Royals beat the Yankees 1-0, with Bullington going 8 strong innings. The Sox have not faced him either. His ERA is 3.00 and his WHIP is 1.19 I'll predict a split, with the Royals taking game 2.

Picks to click tonight for the Royals....Yuniesky Betancourt and Billy Butler.

Have someone read it over and over slowly to you, maybe that will help. Sorry for your inability to comprehend (grasp the meaning of).

Is it just my TV or is the game tonight on WGN not in HD? I think they might be having technical difficulties but I am not sure.

The picture looks absolutely horrible in SD when you've been so used to games in HD. I hope WGN gets the issue fixed. Does anyone know what the problem is? Could it be due to the weird doubleheader scheduled tonight?

I Don't know... the HD was working earlier in the game but the sound was screwed up but the picture was fine, so they changed it to SD, and that fixed the sound issues. WGN has had this problem before. Personally I would have preferred watching it in HD with the bad sound because Big Frank isn't really doing it for me as a color guy...

Ranger will be as fine as Ranger can be. I'm worried about Hawk. Don't stop now Hawk.

Yeah hawk sounds a little blue, but that could be due to him working with big Frank for the past 3 hours...

Big Frank reminds me of the Color Commentator in Major League.

Just saw the Jordan Haines "bacon" collar commercial. One question, why is Jordan sporting a Hitler mustache?

A color guy who makes Hawk talk less would be a good thing. I thing Frank actually makes Hawk talk more, if that's possible.

I've noticed it too. The other thing is, it's a really crappy 2/3 version of a HItler mustache too. It's only partially grown-in. How hard is it to grow a 1/2 inch square on your upper lip?

Alright, I've been hammering Hawk as much as anybody lately. Yet, he seems to be somewhat under control tonight (admittedly flipping back and forth). Why is this?

-too long of a day for him to give 100%?
-it's all an "act" for Stoney?
-other?

I wonder if he's not just really depressed at this point. Or he's deliberately trying to piss off Stone. I don't buy for a second that they just happened to call only three games together in the past week.

Charlie Chaplin is getting a raw deal here.

Was Chaplin ever Time Magazine's Man of the Year?
